We are very happy and proud to have received the ISO 1009:2015 certificate on 4 August 2022! ISO 9001:2015 defines the requirements and principles that provide a standard for organisations to implement a quality management system. It requires a structured and transparent organisation when it comes to providing services and products that meet customer expectations and comply with legal and regulatory conditions and requirements.
These standards can be divided into four areas:
- Requirements for corporate planning
- Requirements for implementation
- Requirements for control
- Requirements for improvement
We decided to apply for certification in 2022 and started preparing immediately. Throughout the process of gathering evidence and writing statements, we found that we already met many of the requirements and that the main work was to demonstrate the quality of our management system.
Our administration and PMO staff worked hard to make sure that we had everything documented and collected, and that everyone was prepared for the process and interviews that would take place to obtain the official certification. We worked with DEKRA: a company that monitored us and provided us with information about ISO 9001:2015.The management system is designed to improve and evolve over time, which is why the certificate has to be completely renewed every three years and is audited on a more superficial level every year. If a company’s management system meets all these quality standards and is therefore reliable and has a high level of customer satisfaction, the company can be certified. The ISO 9001:2015 certificate is not linked to a specific product, service or size of company.
