Background
The “Goldene Lilie” is a competition that was first organised by the city of Wiesbaden in 2010 and has since become a tradition. The prize is awarded to companies that have demonstrated exceptional social commitment over a two-year period.
The jury counts donations of time, money and goods to improve social cohesion, which benefit both local and global organisations that support those in need. They then calculate these donations in relation to the company’s income and number of employees to decide whether or not the company deserves the award.
Our Process
We applied for the “Goldene Lilie” for the first time in 2022 and listed our social commitments for 2020 and 2021. We proudly presented our partnerships with organisations and groups such as Chamäleon and R-users. We also listed the donations made as part of the Seasons Greetings we make at the end of each year.
Later we were invited to the awards ceremony. We attended the event on 10 October 2022 in Wiesbaden and were very happy to be considered for the Golden Lily, which we gladly accepted. Many local companies were present at the event and it was very impressive to see, learn and hear about the many different ways in which social engagement can take place. We are very proud to be part of this group.
