Support Engineer 3rd-level-Support (m/f/d)

As a Support Engineer for 3rd-level support (m/f/d), you’ll work in a competent and dedicated team, continuously maintaining and caring for our high-quality and sustainable software portfolio. Collaborating closely with your team members, you also provide services related to our integration platform for our customers. We provide you with a wide range of classic and modern technologies and programming environments.
Your tasks
- Receiving and categorizing incidents or customer inquiries
- Performing error analysis and resolving incidents
- Quality assurance and documentation of incidents
- Collaborating to optimise support processes
- Independent maintenance and upkeep of our standard software
- Introduction and updating of our integration platform
- Providing support for customer migrations (on-premise, AWS, and Azure Cloud)
- Provision of extended services such as consulting, training, and knowledge transfer
- Collaborating closely with the development department, quality assurance, and documentation teams

Our requirements
- Successfully completed education or degree in the field of computer science or an equivalent qualification
- Excellent analytical skills for diagnosing issues and identifying root causes
- Proficient in MS operating systems and the MS Office suite
- Expertise in both ‘Amazon RDS for Oracle’ and the ‘Microsoft Azure Cloud Services’ environment
- Solid knowledge in the tech stack: Express.js, Node.js, Antlr, RxJS, C#, TypeScript, Java, Script, Git, DevContainer, VSCode, OAuth, JWT, OPA, LDAP, Docker, Kubernetes, dapr, Azure, AWS, GKE, databases (relational, graph, cloud-native), ETL, PL/SQL, SQL
- Good German and English language skills are desirable
