Software Engineer Build & Deployment (m/f/d)

immediately / flexible / permanent

As Software Engineer Build & Deployment (m/f/d) you’ll be responsible for automating the build process and managing the build system. You will work closely with developers to ensure that the applications are built error-free and efficiently. Your task is to work together with our engineers in frontend, QA and documentation to provide a development environment that guarantees the benefits of our integration platform.

Your tasks

• Further developing and maintaining of our buildchain: build, test, deploy and version management
• Further developing and maintaining of the DevContainer environment
• Performing release management at feature level in Git (forking, merging, cherry picking, …)
• Executing of build and deployment processes: Classic, Docker and native cloud
• Ensuring quality through packet management (updating, testing, deprecation, security monitoring)
• Working closely with the development and QA team to implement and monitor Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Our requirements

• Successfully completed education or degree in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
• Experience in developing modern software and build/deploy processes
• Good knowledge of Git, npm, VSCode, Docker, NodeJS/ .Net, Typescript/C#
• Knowledge of the topics Mocha, RobotFramework, Python
• Self-reliance and a hands-on mentality
• Ability to work collaboratively with an agile approach
• Analytical thinking, structured approach, and quality consciousness
• Good German and English language skills are desirable
