On the road together
Our annual team event is always a highlight. This year it took place on September 5!
After a relaxed breakfast together, we set off in high spirits on the bus to Diez. The mood was already lively during the journey, with everyone chatting, laughing, and enjoying the view of the countryside from the window. Once we arrived in Diez, a special activity awaited us: a ride on a handcar along the historic Aartalbahn railway. Teamwork and lots of laughter accompanied us on the route through the autumnal countryside. It was a wonderful opportunity to interact outside of the usual office environment.
Coffee, cake, and a creative team task awaited us at the Kremlin Cultural Center: building a functional catapult. With lots of fun, impressive constructions were created, which later competed against each other in a small competition. In this setting, Martin gave a short speech, thanking the entire team, looking back on what had been achieved so far, and focusing on what’s ahead.
In the evening, we gathered in the beer garden for a barbecue buffet. Under the open sky, with late summer temperatures and atmospheric lighting, we enjoyed freshly grilled food, salads, and drinks. Small games provided additional entertainment, while lively conversations and lots of laughter filled the room. With these memories, we later set off on the return journey together.
Moments like these show what working at boTec is all about: team spirit, curiosity, and the joy of making a difference together, both in the project and in our interactions with each other. We are already looking forward to the next team event!
