Welcoming the Next Generation
Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a very special guest for Girls’Day — a curious, motivated young girl eager to dive into the world of tech!
Girls’Day is a nationwide initiative aimed at encouraging young girls to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) — fields where women are still underrepresented. It’s a chance for girls to get curious, get involved, and see that these paths are open to them too.
From the moment she arrived, Sofia’s enthusiasm was infectious. Throughout the day, she got a firsthand look at what we do here at boTec and even rolled up her sleeves for some hands-on experience. She built her own PC, installed Windows, and explored the basics of IT infrastructure — all with the support and guidance of our team.
Sharing our passion for technology, and showing how creative, exciting, and full of opportunities this field can be, is truly inspiring. If we managed to spark even a little curiosity about a future in tech, we consider that a big win!
We’re proud to support Girls’Day for the second time now and help build a future where curiosity and talent are never limited by stereotypes and gender and where more women feel welcome, valued, and empowered in the tech industry.
