First Aid Training at Wiesbaden Office

Enhancing Workplace Safety

First aid training at boTec wiesbaden office 2024

Last week, our Wiesbaden office engaged in a day of first aid training. Conducted by Florian from the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz, the training was designed to prepare us for emergencies at work and in our daily lives. The interactive experience brought us closer as a team while teaching us crucial life-saving skills.

The day was filled with practical exercises where we learned everything from securing accidents to performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and using Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). We also covered a wide range of scenarios, including different types of bandaging, treating burns and chemical injuries, managing joint injuries, and responding to unconsciousness and cardiac arrest.

Whether it was practicing the recovery position, figuring out how to safely remove a helmet from an unconscious person, or acting out different medical emergencies, everyone was eager to guess the right steps and help each other get it right.

The hands-on approach made the day fly by, and by the end of it, we all felt more confident in our abilities to help one another in an emergency. A big thank you to our fantastic trainer for making this such a valuable day of teamwork.
