Welcoming the BORIS-Team to Wiesbaden: An Introduction to Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI

We’re delighted to welcome the BORIS-Team from BAYERNOIL back to our office! This was the second time we’ve held a training and this time the topic was Data Science, Machine Learning and AI Essentials: Hands-on with R, Python and Refinery Process Anomaly Detection.
The first two days were led by Dr. Guido Moeser from Masem Research Institute GmbH, and the final day was a workshop on anomaly detection in refinery process data, conducted by Jörg Schneider and Uwe Rupp. Despite the scorching 30-degree summer heat outside, we were able to stay comfortably cool inside the conference room thanks to the air conditioning and refreshing cold drinks.

Following our training session, the team enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Gasthof Jagdschloss Platte, where both the atmosphere and the food were impeccable. The stunning views over Wiesbaden and Mainz, combined with the serene forest surroundings, made for a perfect end to the day. Discussing topics outside of work, sharing stories, and simply enjoying good food together helped us build stronger relationships.
We would like to thank all the participants for their active involvement and enthusiasm throughout the training!
