Coming Together for a Good Cause
This year, we at boTec supported the special campaign: “Weihnachten im Schuhkarton”. We came together as a team to bring a little joy to children in difficult life situations.
“Weihnachten im Schuhkarton” (“Christmas in a shoebox”) is a charitable initiative that provides underprivileged children with shoeboxes filled with small gifts, such as toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and sweets. Volunteers pack and label these shoeboxes according to the child’s age and gender, ensuring the contents are appropriate and thoughtful. The aim is to bring joy and hope to children in need, especially during the festive season.
Over the past few days, we have been collecting, organising and packing. Each shoebox was filled with care – from writing materials and toys to accessories and toiletries. The joy of contributing something useful was clearly noticeable. We contributed with creativity and showed that even small gestures can have a big impact.
It was a wonderful experience to see how our team enthusiastically got involved. We at boTec are proud to be part of such a committed community and look forward to continuing to support such campaigns in the future.
