Networking & Industry Trends in Cannes
Martin and Jörg had the pleasure of representing boTec in beautiful Cannes, where the European Refining Technology Conference (ERTC) brought together professionals and fresh perspectives.
The program was packed with innovation, from AI-powered process optimisation to discussions on decarbonisation. What stood out was the atmosphere: Early November sunshine, lively exchanges over coffee, and spontaneous hallway chats that sparked new ideas.
Returning to the event for the fourth time, Jörg and Martin reconnected with familiar faces like Jean Quenon and Randy Segato and deepened relationships that have grown steadily over the years. Whether over a shared laugh or a debate about the industry’s future, these moments make the ERTC valuable.
Outside the conference rooms, there were also plenty of memorable moments. Martin kept up a now-familiar ERTC tradition: heading out at sunrise for a morning run along the coast.
