Last week, Uwe represented boTec at the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit 2025 in London — an event that continues to set the pace for innovation in data strategy, governance, and AI readiness across industries.
Spanning three packed days, the summit delivered a wealth of insights through expert sessions, hands-on workshops, and engaging discussions. The exhibition floor was a clear reflection of how fast the market is moving, with vendors showcasing the latest in data platforms, AI tooling, and intelligent automation.
Among the highlights was the session “Activating AI” by Umbar Shakir and Michael Spiteri, which addressed a pressing challenge many organisations face: turning AI potential into scalable, reliable business solutions. Uwe also took the opportunity to speak directly with vendors about their strategies for AI readiness — and reconnected with industry colleagues, including Andy Bell.
